光辉城市×知远公益 | 用元宇宙点亮桑给巴尔岛的绿色梦想

近日,重庆工业设计产业城入驻企业光辉城市与知远公益联合SOLAR TRIBE TANZANIA和ASKUNI TANZANIA,在距离中国数千公里之遥的东非明珠——坦桑尼亚桑巴尔岛上的SSP High School校园内,完成了一场元宇宙科普活动






这也是光辉城市与知远公益的全球青年公益共创计划在2024年11月7日正式启动后的首场国际公益活动

VR沉浸式体验


这是学生们第一次接触到这种沉浸式的学习方式。当他们戴上VR设备,沉浸在一个虚拟的绿色能源世界中时,那些身临其境的场景,不仅让他们对绿色能源有了更直观、更深刻的认识,还对VR技术本身展现出了浓厚的兴趣。这种创新的教学模式,激发了他们对科技和世界探索的兴趣。在增强对新能源认知的同时,也埋下了环境保护的种子。

志愿者感悟


2024年11月,两位坦桑尼亚的志愿者来到中国接受了系统的志愿服务培训,这也是他们策划执行的首场公益志愿服务活动。下面是他们带领这次活动的一些感悟:


Thomas:

 “作为讲师,展示有关清洁能源的VR项目是一次非常有益的经历。学生们高度参与、好奇和兴奋地探索太阳能以及它如何通过沉浸式技术发挥作用。他们的热情体现在他们提出的深思熟虑的问题和他们分享的关于在社区中使用清洁能源的创造性想法。许多人对VR等技术如何将学习带入生活表示惊讶,他们很高兴有机会亲眼目睹清洁能源的影响。积极的反馈和他们对学习的渴望让我深受鼓舞,相信这一代人已经准备好迎接可持续的未来。”[注1]


Damas:

 “看到学生们在沉浸式环境中探索虚拟太阳能电池板并了解可再生能源时,脸上洋溢着好奇和兴奋的光芒,这令人振奋。会议结束后,许多学生提出了问题,并渴望了解更多关于绿色能源的知识。他们的热情确实令人鼓舞,因为他们对如何将相同的技术应用于其他研究领域的场景可视化表现出浓厚的兴趣。就我个人而言,我为能成为这项倡议的一部分而感到无比自豪,亲眼目睹了技术如何激发年轻人的思想,并促进其对可持续实践的更深入理解。我相信这次经历会给学生们留下深刻的印象,并鼓励他们批判性地思考能源消耗和环境保护。”[注2]





结语


这次活动的意义,远超过一堂科普课的范畴,它展现了科技公益的无限可能。通过元宇宙技术,优质教育资源得以跨越地理限制,让偏远地区的学生也能享受到前沿的科技教育体验。


光辉城市与知远公益的这次"元宇宙科普国际行动",只是一个起点。我们期待:

The students were highly engaged, curious, and excited to explore how solar energy and how it works through immersive technology. Many expressed amazement at how technology like VR can bring learning to life, and they appreciated the opportunity to see the impact of clean energy firsthand. The positive feedback and their eagerness to learn left me inspired and confident that this generation is ready to embrace a sustainable future.”

“It was heartening to see the students' faces light up with curiosity and excitement as they explored virtual solar panels and learned about renewable energy sources in an immersive environment. After the session, many students had questions and were eager to learn more about green energy. Their enthusiasm was truly inspiring, as they showed a keen interest in how the same technology could be applied to visualize scenarios in other fields of study. Personally, I felt immensely proud to be part of this initiative, seeing firsthand how technology can inspire young minds and foster a deeper understanding of sustainable practices. I believe this experience will leave a lasting impression on the students and encourage them to think critically about energy consumption and environmental conservation.”
